Warped Tour Essentials

On March 22nd the official lineup will be announced at tickets will go on sale for this year’s Vans Warped Tour! Based on my experience at the festival last year, I made a video with 15 tips to make your Warped day as great as you want it to be!

  1. Take a backpack or a drawstring bag! It’s easier to carry around the merch you’ll buy from you’re favourite bands, as well as all the free stuff you’ll get while you’re there!
  2. Have sunscreen handy! Trust me, you don’t want to get a sunburn. It’s brutal!
  3. Bring Sharpies, pens, and a notebook so you can get stuff signed by your favourite artists!
  4. Take sunglasses and a hat!
  5. Snacks! Snacks! Snacks! There’s food for sale there and it’s delicious but it’s also expensive!
  6. WATER…Just bring it. There’s refill stations there so bring an empty water bottle or a brand new closed one. Monster usually gives out free energy drinks too!
  7. Bring $$$. You can bring your debit or credit card, but it’s easier to just bring cash.
  8. If you made any fan art for your favourite artists, take it with you! It makes meeting them really special!
  9. If you bought any, don’t forget your VIP passes!
  10. DON’T FORGET YOUR TICKET! I usually like printing mine out and bringing the sheet of paper, but you can show the ticket on your phone too!
  11. Bring your camera and/or your phone to take pictures!
  12. It’s smart to have a couple of Ziploc bags to keep your stuff dry in case it rains!
  13. Take a small hand sanitizer with you!
  14. Stuff a small towel in your bag to keep yourself dry because you’ll be sweating…a lot!
  15. Don’t forget a watch! What if your phone dies? You need to know what time it is so that you don’t miss your favourite bands’ set! Make sure to get the sheet of paper with all the set times once you get in. They’re usually sold for a couple of dollars at the main tent!
